We want your energy and ability to contribute to our success! We are a brand new kitchen and bath accessories retail boutique located in Old Town Tustin. Additionally, we offer design services specializing in vintage kitchen and bath design. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to work regularly scheduled part-time hours in the design/retail studio.

The ideal candidate will have design and retail experience, or be a student studying design with a strong customer service attitude and the ability to consult with customers on purchases. You must be merchandise oriented and want to be involved in all aspects of operating a retail store. In addition to retail store experience, the ideal candidate will possess great people and communication skills, strong sales and motivational abilities, computer skills, visual merchandising, inventory control experience, excellent customer service and a sense of style.


Primary Responsibilities
• Welcome every customer that enters the store
• Master product knowledge and be able to share with customers the story of our unique product offerings
• Establish lasting customer and trade professional relationships through consistent follow up
• Accurately execute operational tasks such as ringing sales, receiving stock, shipping merchandise and maintaining the look of the studio
• Participate in special store functions as directed by owners; such as client events, store meetings and physical inventory

Required Skills
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while delivering sales goals
• Ability to articulately tell the story of the brand through product knowledge and brand design inspiration.
• Willingness to follow direction and work as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve - anticipate challenges, ask questions and react accordingly
• Proficiency at multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizing
• Must possess a friendly and energetic personality


Qualifications
• 2-3years of retail customer service and sales experience, preferably in interiors/home furnishings
• Contemporary sense of style and culture
• Neat appearance
• Microsoft Windows proficiency, AutoCAD and Illustrator a plus
• Strong knowledge and understanding of interior design and merchandising is preferred

Hourly rate + commission
